Wonderful Retreat!
My family and I absolutely loved our stay at the Powell retreat! The house was clean, the yard was well kept, the patio was comfortable with a nice grill. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with all the dishes that could be needed, and they even had many spices and staples for cooking. It was very nice to be able to wash clothing half way through our trip. We also enjoyed having space to spread out and have a little relaxing time after many days of traveling together. The neighbors dogs did like to bark at us when we were outside, but it did not bother us at all. They reminded us of a beloved pet that we miss very much. Otherwise the homestead was in a great location and quiet. It is close to a paved road for those who have little ones, but ours had plenty of room in the front yard to play up close to the house. We have traveled a lot through the years and this is hands-down one of our favorite, and most comfortable places we have had the pleasure of staying in on our trips. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Wonderful house to stay in while visiting Powell
The location is excellent—easy to access from the highway and very comfortable. There was plenty of space for the five adults in our group. The kitchen is well stocked with nearly everything you might need (aside from food, of course). We especially enjoyed the chickens that wandered over from next door (no noisy roosters), and watching the other animals on the neighboring property was highly entertaining. I would happily stay here again when the opportunity arises.
