Welcome to beautiful Jim Creek Cabin! We are so excited to have you come and share our magnificent location with its mountain views, activities, and wildlife. Located approximately halfway between Yellowstone National Park and Cody, Wyoming, Jim Creek Cabin provides an excellent base camp for all your northwestern Wyoming adventures. Mini-split air conditioning added August of 2025. Newly added Starlink Internet for faster speeds! Winter & Spring Travel Notice: Cody offers plenty to enjoy year-round! Please note that Yellowstone’s East Entrance and most park roads are closed to regular vehicle traffic from November 1, 2025 through May 1, 2026. During winter (December 15–mid-March, weather permitting), access is available only by guided snowcoach or snowmobile tours.
Jim Creek Cabin has an open living, dining, and living room area. fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher, and Keurig coffee pot. The living space has a television with satellite channels and murphy bed for additional guests. Bedroom 1 has a king bed. Bedroom 2 has a twin bunk bed. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. This home does not have a washer and dryer but just a short drive to Cody, there are two laundromats.
Surrounded by the Absaroka Mountains and bordered by Jim Creek, this cabin offers comfortable beds, hot showers, a fully equipped kitchen, and space to unwind combined with easy access to adventure. Outside, there is a covered porch, gas grill, picnic table, two firepits, and outdoor space for tents. The cabin is only 1/4 mile from the Jim Mountain Trailhead for access to the Shoshone National Forest. This home is perfect for adventuring and exploring!
*This property does not have laundry facilities, but the town of Cody does offer 2 laundromats.
*There is approximately 2 miles of unpaved road going to the cabin. This mountain road is generally accessible to passenger cars, SUVs, and trucks during dry weather conditions. In periods of wet or inclement weather, the roadway may become hazardous. Under such conditions, access should be attempted only with properly equipped all- wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles.
