Come and stay at our dome on the range. This remodeled geodesic dome house is nestled halfway between Cody and Yellowstone National Park in the beautiful Wapiti Valley.  Enjoy views from every window and the wrap around deck. From the dome you can see up the Northfork Valley, Jim Mountain to the North, Ptarmigan Mountain to the South, and Buffalo Bill Reservoir to the East. In the Wapiti area you can enjoy fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, skiing, horseback riding and animal watching. We have seen deer, buffalo, elk, wolf, fox, eagles, owls, blue birds, and even a few horny toads on this 5-acre property. Winter & Spring Travel Notice: Cody offers plenty to enjoy year-round! Please note that Yellowstone’s East Entrance and most park roads are closed to regular vehicle traffic from November 1, 2025 through May 1, 2026. During winter (December 15–mid-March, weather permitting), access is available only by guided snowcoach or snowmobile tours.

Keeping with the green theme that domes are accustomed, a variety of reclaimed materials were used when remodeling this home. You’ll see material from old barns, snow fences, cellars, bridges, and decks mixed with stainless steel appliances, marble tile back splashes, concrete counter tops, new solid pine doors, and large wood/metal clad windows. A newly added game room features a pool table, bar and half bath.

On the inside this 2200 square foot home has a 24-foot ceiling in the great room, a custom fireplace, and a loft. Bedroom 1 is on main level and has a queen bed. Bathroom 1 features a tiled, step-in shower. Also on the main level is a den with a comfortable sofa sleeper and a television and through the den a laundry room. Upstairs there is a loft with a sectional sofa and fantastic views, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and bedroom 3 has a triple bunk bed with twin beds and an additional twin bed. Bathroom 2 has a tub/shower combo.

Come stay at our dome on the range; relax, enjoy the area, barbeque a great meal, take in the scenery, and toast the day with a warm s’more and a cool drink.

Perfect accommodations for a family reunion!
We loved the Dome house for our family reunion over the Christmas! The house was the perfect size and had so many nice features that made everyone comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the different areas gave folks areas to handout, the game room was a fun bonus too! The hosts took the time to make the house a bit more Christmasey, and that was appreciated. The scenery and views were the so enjoyable and although the weather was changeable, we enjoyed looking out the windows! Thank you so much for making your Dome home available. We hope to visit again.

First Class Stay in Wapiti, WY
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Domehouse in Wapiti, the home is beautiful, clean and relaxing....and then there is the view which are nothing short of spectacular. We will be back!

Wapati Dome House
We had a wonderful stay at the Dome house. We had 10 of us that fit comfortably with plenty of privacy. The Gameroom was the bonus on top! We would definitely stay there again.

Surround Views
Such a well appointed house, every single view is stunning. The home has all you will need while away. Kitchen has everything for cooking/baking and enjoying family around the large kitchen table with views! The game room is fun for everyone, wish we were still there!

Yellowstone Vacation
The Dome House was perfect for the setting with beautiful views in every direction. The house is clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and well-stocked. A call before we arrived was immediately returned with friendly, helpful information. The area is a bit remote, but the house is conveniently located between Yellowstone and Cody. I have already recommended this rental to others.

We loved this place
We loved this place. It was perfect for getting to Yellowstone but also close enough to do things in Cody. We can’t say anything negative, the dome house was private and secluded and had everything we needed. We highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to the area.

Exceeded expectations!
This house exceeded our expectations! It is often hard to tell from photos so we weren't sure what to expect, but the place was beautiful and so nicely decorated. They thought of everything! We didn't have to worry if we forgot something because they had it all there. When I couldn't find something I texted the owner and they wrote me right back! The laundry room was great, and it had a charging station for all devices. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. The view was AMAZING and the location was great because it is right between Cody and Yellowstone. I would 10/10 stay there again!

Lovely spot
The Dome House was perfect for a wedding weekend celebration in Wapiti, WY. We stayed five nights. We had 5 adults - 2 couples and a single- and used the 2 queen rooms and the bunk room. FYI, The fourth "bedroom" is actually a den with a sliding barn door and a sofa sleeper. The house has great outdoor space, a large, well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens, air conditioning, a washer/dryer, decent wifi, cell service, puzzles, games, a grill, fire pit, indoor fireplace...everything you might need.
