AJ’s Outpost is a family-friendly mountain home located on the scenic route between Cody, WY and the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. With easy access to world-class fly fishing on the North Fork of the Shoshone River, this home is an ideal basecamp for park exploration, outdoor adventure, and relaxed family time.
Inside, enjoy a large, well-equipped kitchen, open living and dining spaces, cozy stone fireplace, and spacious bedrooms for restful nights. Outside, unwind in the private, fenced backyard with mountain views, outdoor seating, and a gas grill — perfect after a day in Yellowstone or on the river.
Walking in, you are greeted by an open kitchen, living and dining room area. The large kitchen is well-appointed for easy meal prep. Gather around the dining table, breakfast bar or take your meals outside to the gas grill and enjoy dining on the deck. The living room has seating for everyone to unwind together, stone fireplace as well as a game table for puzzles or a chess match. The home is one level and the bedrooms feature ample closet space and dressers. The main bedroom has a king bed and attached bath with a walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom also has a king bed. Bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds. A convenient laundry area is located off of the kitchen. The home has a detached garage for guest use. The backyard is fenced for privacy and enjoying the beautiful mountain views. A gas grill, outdoor seating and deck make the backyard a great gathering space for your group.

AJs outpost was a dream
Beyond beautiful. Views from every window!! Easy walk to the Creek. Everything was so modern and beautiful. Comfortable beds. Showers were magnificent. We loved it.

This home was absolutely perfect and very well furnished! We loved that it had 2 King on-suites/master bedrooms and one for the kids! It was perfectly located between Cody and Yellowstone National Park! It had amazing views of the mountains and a short walk down to the river! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Spectacular
This house was absolutely perfect. We travel a lot, and this was probably our favorite place we’ve stayed. About halfway between the park and Cody. The house is a lot larger than we anticipated. It very easily accommodated our group of 5. Everyone had room to spread out when needed. Amazing views off the front and back decks, and out of every single window. There are neighbors, but it still felt very private. Home was very well equipped for cooking, laundry, and grilling. We did all 3. We also appreciated the option of being able to park in the huge 3 car garage. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. All in all, I’d give it a 10/10.
