Great get away place
This is a great place to stay while touring Yellowstone and the Tetons. Actually the ride between Cody and the East Gate of Yellowstone is magnificent, probably as scenic and wild life viewing along the way. Convenient to the Shoshone River for a little fishing time. Great experience and the folks that manage the house are stellar.

RiverHouse
We had a great stay at this location. The deck was fantastic and enjoyed having all of meals right outside. All we had to do was stock the fridge as it was provide with all the cooking essentials. The location was perfect for our needs for North Fork Shoshone and the scenery all the way to Yellowstone made for a short drive. Check-in and check out was very easy. The house does get very warm during the day and took awhile to cool down into the late evening hours. However, being Mid July we planned for it and brought 2 extra fans which did help. We enjoyed this property and would stay here again or with any other Cody Lodging property.

Very Good
The scenery was great. Nice and quiet neighborhood. The house was fine for the two of us. A small glitch with the washing machine but it was taken care of immediately. House was a little warm during the day. The portable AC helped in the bedroom at night. Other than that everything was fine.

We used this as a launching point to visit area attractions (Yellowstone, Cody, etc) so we were gone most of the day, but if the day was hot it could be a little hot in the house in the evening. That said, opening some windows allowed a nice breeze and it cooled off relatively well. The location is great - the views of the river and hills made a pleasant backdrop to morning breakfast, an evening cup of coffee, or whatever. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with some residents there and what seem to be a few other rentals, and it's spread out so you have lots of privacy and silence to enjoy nature.

Very Good
We enjoyed our stay. We saw a grizzly bear just off from our deck. Neighbor came over to warn us that one was crossing the river coming on to the riverbank to the back of home. Might be a wise idea to post on the bulletin board in the house that grizzly bears are spotted here. Should have bear spray when walking the roads near the house. Downstairs windows did not have screens.

Very Good - lack of AC on hot days though
The views from this property are amazing. The river, cliffs, and mountains all make for an awesome tapestry out the windows in every room. The days were hot while we were there and although there were some portable AC units (tucked in a closet), having them on during the day didn't make it any cooler when we arrived back after a day in the nearby attractions. But at least the nights were cooler and we could open windows and doors (not all have screens, so choose wisely) to cool things off somewhat at night.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, and the view while sitting outside drinking a morning cup of coffee really can't be beat.

What an amazing clean retreat!
Upon arrival this home we were instantly relaxed. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The views were breathtaking and it was nice and quiet. We loved being out of town but close enough we could run in if we needed something. Would love to return one day!
