Just Right
Peaceful, quiet with everything you might need yet close enough to town to shop and/or sight see. The bunkhouse is very clean and comfortable. We were able to cook, eat, clean up, hang out on the porch.....just like home. Great price, highly recommended.

Great little getaway spot
Bunkhouse was clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked that it was a little way out of town - but not too far.

Great place to stay! The view from the front porch is magical and perfect for coffee and drinks! Super cute and rustic, we slept with the windows open each night as the temps were perfect for it. Will stay here when we come back again!

A gorgeous location with views of the mountains all around, close to the Buffalo Bill Dam and within easy reach of Yellowstone National Park. The cabin is comfortable with a nice firm bed in a large room, plenty of room in the living area, and a deck for relaxing outside to take in the quiet ambiance. The kitchen is small but workable, there's a table to eat at, and the bathroom is good. Small windows and dark wood interior make it feel a little dark inside, but it is called The Bunkhouse and has a rustic Western ranch style which fits with Cody, Wyoming. Great value and highly recommended for a Western experience!

Very beautiful views from the bunk house, clean and inviting living space. About and hours drive into Yellowstone. Quite country stay still close enough to Cody to enjoy all the town has to offer.

Amazing place to stay. The cabin was stocked with little extras we weren't expecting and feel like they had us covered if we forgot things. We really enjoyed our stay and the close location to Cody. Would definitely recommend to others!

Very Good
It was the perfect location for exploring the area. Not far from Yellowstone and Shoshoni National forest. Just outside Cody for restaurants and supplies. Would stay here again. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Great value for an awesome location just south of Cody! We had no problem finding the place. Cowboy Bunkhouse has the most beautiful views all around! The house was very clean and had all of the basics we needed for family of 5, 3-day stay. ‘Even had coffee for the coffee maker which we were very grateful for on our first morning! We did a day trip into Yellowstone. Tip for Yellowstone travelers: the park is HUGE! Don’t underestimate time to get where you want to go! Take snacks and water for the drive. Cody is fabulous! You will not be bored!!!

Second-Time Bunkhousers
We've not spent a total of 6 months in Bunkhouse #2 over two trips to the Cody region. It's currently best to stay at during the summer months. We've stayed during the winter now, which is unusual for the Bunkhouse anyway, so there are some winterizing suggestions we've made. But it's a cozy place to stay, right there in the beautiful Southfork Valley. Porch-sitting is definitely a thing, and can easily become a nighttime ritual, even during chilly mornings with coffee or brisk evenings with something else. If you're a cook the smaller kitchen might be a challenge, but it's certainly workable if you're creative enough. Bunkhouse #2 is really a great hopping-off point for all there is to do in the Yellowstone region.
