Welcome to Aviators Landing! This cabin provides a scenic view of the surrounding wilderness and is just 30 minutes from the eastern gate of Yellowstone. Walk outside to the wrap around porch which gives you the perfect view of the mountains and valley below. Conveniently located within 30 minutes of Cody where you will find grocery stores, dining, the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and so much more!Winter Spring Travel Notice: Cody offers plenty to enjoy year-round! Please note that Yellowstone s East Entrance and most park roads are closed to regular vehicle traffic from November 1, 2025 through May 1, 2026. During winter (December 15 mid-March, weather permitting), access is available only by guided snowcoach or snowmobile tours.

The owner of this home is a combat pilot who has been fighting the last 20 years in Iraq and Afghanistan. He flew medical evacuation helicopters, and this cabin is his chance to get away from the noise and sights of military life and be able to unwind and relax in a safe environment. Whether you want to go for a hike, hunt, fish or just enjoy a starry night without the pollution of city lights blocking your view of the heavens, this cabin is it!
On the main level, there is a fully equipped kitchen with an open concept dining area and living room. The living space also offers a gas fireplace for those colder evenings and a seasonal window a/c unit for warmer months. There is three bedrooms upstairs. The master has a king bed and an attached bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and bedroom 3 has a queen bed. The shared hall bathroom has a tub/shower combo. There is a second living room in the basement for added comfort when traveling with multiple guests. Bedroom 4 is located on the lower level and has a double bed. The half bathroom is also located on the lower level with a washer and dryer for your convenience. Make Aviators Landing your home away from home and experience the outdoors and beautiful views.
*There is approximately 1.5 miles of unpaved road going to the cabin. This mountain road is generally accessible to passenger cars, SUVs, and trucks during dry weather conditions. In periods of wet or inclement weather, the roadway may become hazardous. Under such conditions, access should be attempted only with properly equipped all- wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles.

The house was a great place to we loved it there was very clean great views from the deck we visited Yellowstone from there and wasn’t a very far drive. The only thing I can thick of was the road up to the cabin could be a little rough. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay there!!

The location was exactly what we were looking for, isolated with unobstructed views to enjoy both sunrise and sunset, but still only 30 min from Cody. The house has a rustic charm while having all the modern amenities and it was very clean. Overall it was even better than I expected. The lack of central AC was not a problem even though we were there when the temperature went up to 90-95°F 3 days in a row. The bedrooms cool down quickly in the evening, the living room had a small window unit that we barely used and the basement (which has a tv and a view) seems to always be cool.

The cabin was very nice. The only thing I could suggest is adding in the description (unless it is there and I overlooked it) is that the cabin doesnt have air conditioning and the road to get there is not great and is very high up on the mountain. In the right conditions a car could never make it. Glad we drove our truck! we enjoyed our stay!

Our group had an excellent stay here, it’s a great distance between Cody and Yellowstone with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. Everything inside the house is very nice and supplied well. We would stay here again for sure!

The Aviators Cabin was perfect for us and our son's family. The location is fantastic, situated between Cody and Yellowstone. The scenery from our deck was spectacular. There was plenty of room for all and the grandkids loved having the basement to themselves. Our only regret was that we didn't have more time to spend there.

What an experience!
The home was everything that was promised. The view from the mountain was beautiful. This was one of the best places we have stayed in terms of having things in the kitchen to use. The grandkids enjoyed the arcade games and the board games, while the adults enjoyed the quiet of the mountains. Cody Lodging got right back to us in the one question we had. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Beautiful cabin, had everything as listed and that anyone would need. Had a few missing screens that would have allowed us to open more windows for breeze and carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. Had to get a foot stool to us the bathroom mirrors as they are mounted on the wall very high. But I would come back, beautiful setting!

Our family of 5 enjoyed this beautiful cabin for our summer vacation. We toured Yellowstone Park (a 45 min drive away) and took in the Cody Rodeo a few nights (an easy 20 min drive). The view was spectacular, and it had everything we needed.

Top of the mountain
We totally enjoyed our stay!! Was perfect for our time visiting Yellowstone. Loved cruising the 4-Runner up the mountain. The views were amazing. Well laid out, plenty of room, comfy furniture. Kids (& Dad) enjoyed the video game downstairs. Don't want to say too much because then it will be booked when we want to come back!! 10/10!! Thanks

This place is absolutely amazing. My friends and I are all entrepreneurs and needed to come together on this holiday to discuss how to ideas, connect with one another more and enjoy beautiful Wyoming. We're far enough off the beaten path to feel the perfect amount of touristic seclusion. We went in off-season for thanksgiving and was perfect. - some key things to note It has everything you need to cook anything you want! Even a kitchen aide!! I made some amazing stuff with it for 🦃 day. Great lower level den to all hang. Or the upstairs living room also has a massive TV to all relax and cozy up to the fireplace. Management is super helpful. Responsive. We will be back.
